My writing

Most of my writing is in the form of short stories - generally quite long - but the pieces show-cased here are much shorter. You can read these on the showcase page.

A volume of my short stories, Painting the Souls of Men, is now available as a kindle e-book from Amazon (click here).

In earlier work, one of my stories won third prize in the Guardian Short Story competition that was sponsored by Grolsch, and another was long-listed for the BBC Opening Lines slot on Radio Four. I recently co-edited 'Book of Numbers' - the 2009 anthology of work by students and tutors of the National Academy of Writing Diploma Course, and had a story in The Spiral Path, the 2010 anthology.

As part of the work of the National Academy of Writing, extracts from one of my scripts was showcased at the Wilson Studio at the Royal Court Theatre together with works by my colleagues Federay Holmes, Geoff Mills and Rena Brannan.

I have just completed 'Too Many Memories', a novel - which looks at the effects of past memories on our lives today. To read more about it CLICK HERE.
